Operation Shower Love

Today I’m helping setup at the Operation Shower event being held in Chicago! If you aren’t familiar with Operation Shower, it is a non-profit organization that throws joyful baby showers for military families to help ease the burden of deployment. I was asked to collect diaper donations to bring along for this amazing event and took it upon myself to collect even more!

It completely warmed my heart to see so many amazing people willing to donate! One of my favorite quotes that seems very fitting is, “Ask not what kindness people can do for you, ask what type of kindness you can do for others.” It really is a big deal to me that you helped such an amazing cause and I know the mom’s will surely appreciate it.

I’m super excited to see Ms. Amy Belle Isle (co-founder of Operation Shower) again! I had the pleasure of meeting her for the first time last year in San Diego at the HWTM Launch Party. I’m beyond excited to help and meet some more party people 🙂 This is such an amazing organization and I hope to help out again in the future. XOXO, m

Construction 1st Birthday Photo Shoot

I’m so excited to share with you this first birthday photo shoot using our Construction themed products. He’s having a Construction themed first birthday party {this weekend} and she used the signs and fabric garland we made for the party for his one-year photos. Love it. New Mod Mickey + Minnie Inspired Collection

Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog! 😉 It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here! We’ve sold the Mickey inspired sign in our etsy shop for awhile now but I decided to make a full printable collection to match and had my favorite Ellie of Photography Studio 37 shoot our sign with stylin’ Miss Cami, of course!

I know she’s my daughter but doesn’t she look so adorable in her matching Minnie gear? I purchased the romper on GroopDealz, headband from AMK’s Boutique, necklace from Miss CoCo Designs and the adorable yellow shoes from Joyfolie. I made the matching custom fabric garland which I will be selling on the fabulous party supplies site, Polka Dot Market coming soon! {Yippee!}

Rewind: Princess Cami’s 1st Birthday Party

So I thought it would be fun to rewind a few years back to Princess Camryn’s 1st Birthday Party! {Since I realized last month I never blogged about it.} It was the first time I really, truly knew I had a thing for planning parties. You will notice there is no dessert table and I even outsourced and ordered some of the decor instead of making it myself. Gasp! And guess what? Who cares that I did? I kinda have to chuckle though since now the one thing I love most is creating all of the paper products for her parties, but three years ago I was solely doing weddings 🙂


It was a pink + purple princess themed party. I found her adorable outfit at Gymboree but now kinda wondering why I got her a cupcake shirt? LOL 🙂 I made the invitations, square food sign labeling all of her favorites and milestones and the party hats. I had this lady from etsy make the photo banner and high chair banner. Thanks to Ellie of Photos by Vitella for photographing her special day. As you can see, she had a blast with her cake! My sisters and I all had chocolate cake for our first birthday’s so I carried that tradition on for Miss Cami and was it ever fun!
Hope you enjoyed looking back with me. I kinda want to go cry in a corner now. I wish the phrase “time flies!” was a joke, but it’s SO not. XO, m

Addison’s Snow White Inspired 3rd Birthday Party!

 Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it’s off to Princess Addison’s 3rd Birthday Party we go!

Isn’t she the cutest?! I’m so excited to share with you this amazing Snow White inspired birthday bash my friend Amy of AMK’s Boutique threw for her daughter, Addison. Amy made the oreo pops, cookies and the adorable birthday banner! She also reused a bunch of the red and yellow party items from her daughter’s Sesame Street inspired 2nd Birthday party. All of the details are amazing and it looks like the birthday girl had an absolute blast! Even Snow White made a guest appearance! Aren’t the yellow picture frames hung on the tree just adorable? The Seven Dwarfs Diamond Mine sandbox scavenger hunt is such a clever idea! LOVE.
I created the invitations for this party and I loved making the matching paper products + party printables. I let Amy borrow a few decorations from my daughter’s recent Curious George party that matched her color scheme perfectly!

 Fabulous job, Amy! Addison is so lucky to have you as her mama and the pictures surely express that she had an absolute blast!

Try Me Thursday: Baby Names

Sooo….I’m obsessed with baby names. OBSESSED. I see a baby and immediately have to know their name. Thought it would be a fun topic today since the top names of 2011 were recently released. {See list here} I’m totally bummed one of my favorites is listed #2 thanks to Kourtney K for naming her baby Mason. 🙂 Now it’s the latest craze!


I get to see some fun and unique names all the time when creating birth announcements and party invites. So fun!! Everyone has their own taste and style. While I do love the names above, I’m personally a big fan of unique and trendy names. Totally love unisex names for girls, too. Hence my daughter’s name, Camryn. Can’t tell you know many times I get, “Oh, I know a boy named Cameron.” And so do I, trust me 🙂 but you all know Cameron Diaz, right? Haha. Anyway, here are a few of my faves…

New Construction Party Sign!

If you didn’t catch it on facebook last night, well….my hubby is AWESOME. I’ve been working on lots of designs for my friend’s son’s Construction themed 1st birthday. Ryan (my husband) wanted to create a new construction themed sign to go along with it and it is just the CUTEST, if I do say so myself 😉
