Melamine Plate Holiday Teacher Gift & Free Printable

I’m all about a rhyming note so when I was brainstorming some ideas to go along with the plate this popped in my mind! I designed a free printable with the words displayed in the shape of a Christmas tree because why not?!

Simple Fall Tablescape

Today I am sharing a fun fall tablescape I put together that was quick and easy . You can probably use items you already have around your home to spruce up your table! Leaves, pumpkins, acorns, florals, all add so much to your display. My paisley fall tablecloth from TJ Maxx was very busy so I didn’t want to add too much to the overall look. I adore these polka napkins I also scored at TJ Maxx last month and the darling twig cutlery from Madhouse are the perfect addition for a fall tablescape! I added a little vibrant orange ribbon around them and bam! A cute little dinner plate.

I simply tied a hand towel (also found at TJ Maxx) around my wine holder using twine. Easy added touches are my favorite!

My favorite little touch is using a sharpie to write your guests names on a fake leaf. Or real leaves would work too but may get a little messy.

Found this fun green chevron ribbon at the Dollar Tree and curled it around the goblets for a little pizzazz!

Bold, bright colors and pattern mixing is my signature style and I think you can see that here. I hope my fall tablescape left you with a few inspiring ideas for your upcoming holiday dinners. Thanksgiving is right around the corner – yay!

Fall Home Tour 2015

Happy Monday my friends! I’m very excited to share with you today my Fall Home Tour. Yay! I’ve redecorated many times throughout the last few months so bear with me and my mantel that I re-styled several times! This is the first year we have our faux fireplace and floating shelves so I’ve been in styling heaven decorating this year! Autumn Decorating Ideas + Inspiration

Fall is officially here and I’m excited to share some of my favorite fall decor items from Kirkland’s. They have such a wide selection of fabulous fall decor at an affordable price. Yay! I was just shopping there last week and it’s an explosion of fall colors with the most stylish decor. Can you tell I am in LOVE with decorating, especially this time of year.

One of my favorite pieces is this Sadie Arch mirror, available in a variety of colors. Makes such a great focal point and can be dressed up for any occasion. I like the idea of even hanging the “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart” sign over it with a command hook and changing it out with a simple wreath, like this classic boxwood wreath or monogram wreath when you aren’t decorating for the holidays. How do you decorate for Fall? What are your go-to decor items? I bought this cute Welcome Harvest Sign to display on my planter box I filled with mums. Love using items in unexpected places and it makes the perfect welcome sign to greet our guests on the front porch. And guess what? It’s on sale for only $10.99!

Another item I’ve purchased is this darling burlap autumn sentiments plaque seen on my floating shelves and pallet wall. Yes please to all of the items listed! It’s such a large statement piece and is my favorite fall item.

Rustic Glam Gallery Wall

I recently completed this gallery wall for a client’s dining room. Yay! Mixed wood tones, gray, aqua and a splash of yellow really make this wall pop. I used a variety of items and patterns to make. I really love the heart bin I filled with fake lemons. This wall is really big – 9 ft long and makes such a statement in her dining room!

Baby Girl Shower Gift Idea + Free Printable

It’s hard to find a gal that doesn’t love shoes, am I right? And when the mama-to-be is a fashionista and shoe-lover herself you think outside of the box for a unique baby shower gift idea. My inspiration came from this adorable keepsake box I bought at Homegoods for only $7.99 and originally thought, oh this is cute to add some clothes in….then I was like wait! My friend is a shoe-lover so yep, I gotta fill it with cute baby shoes! I bought different size shoes – all from Target and Babies R Us. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. I can’t decide which ones are my favorite – little girl shoes are THE cutest! A girl can never have too many shoes!? 😉

I created a printable that you can download below that goes perfectly with the gift, using the famous Marilyn quote. (Simply click on the image and right click to save to your computer.) I printed it out on pink paper. Would be super cute if you framed it, too and set inside but I just simply cut it out and set it inside the box. Up to you. This would also be cute for a birthday gift for basically, anyone! Add a cute ribbon around a shoe box, along with the printable and voila! Easy and cute! DIY $5 Dollar Tree Fall Craft
