Operation Shower Love

Today I’m helping setup at the Operation Shower event being held in Chicago! If you aren’t familiar with Operation Shower, it is a non-profit organization that throws joyful baby showers for military families to help ease the burden of deployment. I was asked to collect diaper donations to bring along for this amazing event and took it upon myself to collect even more!

It completely warmed my heart to see so many amazing people willing to donate! One of my favorite quotes that seems very fitting is, “Ask not what kindness people can do for you, ask what type of kindness you can do for others.” It really is a big deal to me that you helped such an amazing cause and I know the mom’s will surely appreciate it.

I did fall short of my goal so went on a little shopping spree for diapers 🙂 I absolutely love helping people and what better way than to donate diapers for such an amazing event.

I’m super excited to see Ms. Amy Belle Isle (co-founder of Operation Shower) again! I had the pleasure of meeting her for the first time last year in San Diego at the HWTM Launch Party. I’m beyond excited to help and meet some more party people 🙂 This is such an amazing organization and I hope to help out again in the future. XOXO, m
