Here’s the scoop. Depending on how many different colors of fabric you use depends on how much you get. I typically get a 1/2 yard of five different pieces of fabric. Obviously the more patterned fabric you buy, the more expensive. The pink and silver one I made was a bit more pricey compared to my solid color bright garland I made for my daughter’s birthday party.
Please share your fabric garlands with me if you decide to make one! I’d love to see them. I’m currently working on a few garlands for a construction party + nautical party so stay tuned! XOXO, m

I know you typically cut them 1 – 2 inches wide, but how long do you normally like them to be?
Thanks!

It’s just one long piece of fabric – place it behind the ribbon/rope like a horseshoe – and take the two bottom loose ends and bring up and pull through the hole that is above the rope and it ties a knot on top and voila! Kind of confusing to write out – I’ll add a photo in a few days once I take one 🙂
