One Fish + Two Fish = New Fish

This past weekend my girlfriends and I threw our good friend’s couples baby shower! It was inspired by the Dr. Seuss book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. The daddy-to-be LOVES to fish so thought it would be the perfect theme. I added my own little twist to it using the primary color scheme that matches the popular book. Guests wrote a little message in the actual book for them to read again for years to come.

The fabulous Lynlee of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes made the ADORABLE fondant cupcake toppers (last photo) to match the invite – they were the hit of the table! Absolutely perfect! My good friend, Ann, who helped throw the shower made the adorable sugar cookies – soooo darn cute and yummy too! And you can’t have a party without Lillycakes so of course those were on the menu 🙂 I found the cute containers that displayed the Cake Pops at Pier One on clearance.
